The Napoli Queer Festival continues its program with a day full of events dedicated to the performing arts. On Thursday, April 3, the public will be able to attend a mix of cinema, theater, literature and music.
Article Key Points
Film Screening
At 16:00 pm, at the Teatro Nuovo, “Libera” by Pappi Corsicato will be screened, a 1993 film that marks the debut of the Neapolitan director and which received the Nastro d'Argento for best first work. The cast includes Iaia Forte, Cristina Donadio and Enzo Moscato. The film explores the lives of three women who break social norms in a postmodern Naples. Before the screening, the journalist Francesca Saturnino from “Il Manifesto” will conduct an interview with the director Pappi Corsicato and the actress Cristina Donadio.
Dramaturgy and Performance
The program continues at 18:00 pm in the Sala Assoli-Moscato with “Writing the Silence”, a dramaturgical initiative led by Domenico Ingenito and supervised by Letizia Russo. Six authors will present their works in a collective reading, addressing themes of gender, abuse and violence. Admission is free. It will follow at 20:30 pm with “Tekken Drama – how to make friends with monsters”, a performance conceived by Francesca Becchetti and directed by Alice Conti, which explores relationships through the perspective of Eveline, a young woman dealing with a separation and her personal demons in a tragicomic and pop style.
Music and Inclusivity
The day will end with a DJ set by Sarabamba at 22:00 p.m., again in the Sala Assoli-Moscato. This project, originally from Florence, blends electronic pop and techno with tribal and trance elements. Access is free until seats are taken, with priority for those who have already attended the performances. An inclusive initiative allows deaf people to “feel” the music through Woojer Vest 3 vibrating vests, available free of charge upon reservation. For tickets and further details, you can call the number indicated or visit the official website of the festival.

The article talks about an interesting and varied festival, but I don't really understand how the reservations for the vibrating vests work. It would be helpful to have more information on how to reserve and if there are any limitations on places.
