Pompeii (Naples) – An episode of domestic violence occurred in Pompeii, where a man was arrested after threatening his aunt to obtain sums of money: it all started when the woman, gripped by fear, barricaded herself inside her home and asked the police for help.
The man, the victim's nephew, allegedly tried insistently to get money from the woman, even going so far as to threaten her with death. In one particularly violent circumstance, the man allegedly tried to enter the house armed with a knife, forcing the woman to take refuge in the house and ask for the intervention of the police.
The investigations, conducted by the Police Station of Pompei with the coordination of the Torre Annunziata Prosecutor's Office, have allowed to collect sufficient evidence to issue an order to leave the family home and a ban on approaching the places frequented by the woman. The order was issued by the investigating judge of the Torre Annunziata Court at the request of the Oplontina Prosecutor's Office. The man has been subjected to the precautionary measure, and investigations are still ongoing to shed light on any other episodes of abuse and violence.
