Salernitana changes technical leadership: the Campania club has made official the dismissal of Robert Breda, relieved of his duties after the defeat suffered against Juve Stabia, which further aggravated an already critical ranking situation.
The Granata are in fact in penultimate place in Serie B, fighting to avoid relegation.
In a note released by the club, the owners and management wanted to thank the coach for the work done in the past months: “The owners and management would like to sincerely thank the coach for his maximum commitment, professionalism and dedication to the Granata club demonstrated daily during his work in recent months. We wish him the best for the future, both personally and professionally”.
At the moment there hasn't been any official announcement about the name of the new coach, but Pasquale Marino seems to be the favorite to sit on the Granata bench. The coach, with a long experience in Serie B, could be called to lead the team in these last decisive games of the championship, in an attempt to achieve a salvation that is becoming increasingly difficult.

I don't know if the decision to fire Breda is right, but the league table situation is very complicated. Let's hope the new coach can do better. Relegation would be a big problem for Salernitana.
