A home laboratory for the processing and dealing of narcotics, where among the seized materials there is also a kitchen roner – a typical tool in gourmet kitchens – used however not to enhance the flavours, but to refine the hashish.
This is what was discovered by the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of Torre Annunziata, who arrested a 46-year-old from San Giuseppe Vesuviano, already known to the police.
The raid was launched after an in-depth investigation that led to a search of the house, which had been transformed into a real drug production and packaging centre.
Inside were found 9 kilos of hashish, 4 of marijuana, 200 grams of cocaine and 100 of crack. A quantity that on the retail market could have brought in over 100 thousand euros.
What struck the soldiers, in addition to the large quantity of drugs, was the presence of the roner, a device used in vacuum cooking to maintain constant temperatures.

The 46-year-old was arrested on charges of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing, while his wife was reported at large for the same crime.

It's very strange how a roner can be used to make drugs, it's something I don't understand. People should know how to use things correctly, instead of doing illegal activities that harm everyone. The law must be stricter.
