Naples – A ray of sunshine has broken the hospital routine of the little patients of the Santobono-Pausilipon of Naples, transforming Easter into an occasion of joy and hope.
This morning, a delegation from USMIA Esercito brought Easter eggs as a gift, which will be delivered to hospitalized children through the Santobono Pausilipon Onlus association. A simple but meaningful initiative, capable of lighting smiles on the faces of those who face challenges bigger than themselves every day.
The event was attended by leading figures of the organization: the Regional General Secretary of Campania, Nicola Ruffo, the National Secretary of the Economic Treatment Area, Vincenzo Pascarella, the Base Delegate of the 21st Engineers of Caserta, Francesca De Filippo, and the Spokesperson USMIA Campania, Claudio De Gennaro. The delivery, welcomed with enthusiasm and gratitude by the representatives of the association, created a festive atmosphere, demonstrating how even a small gesture can have a profound impact.
“Today, on this day of celebration, our hearts are with the children who are fighting a difficult battle,” said Nicola Rufo. “With this gift, USMIA wants to convey a message of hope and courage. We want these little heroes to know that they are not alone, that the community is by their side and that together we can overcome any obstacle.
Easter represents rebirth, and we believe in the extraordinary strength of these children. Our mission is to be close to those in need, and today more than ever we feel the duty to give a smile and a hug to these little great fighters.”
The initiative is not just an isolated act of generosity, but a piece of the broader commitment of USMIA Esercito to support the most vulnerable groups in society. The organization, known for protecting the rights of military personnel, demonstrates with this action that it goes beyond its institutional mandate, promoting values of solidarity and social cohesion.
The delivery of Easter eggs is part of a vision that aims to strengthen the sense of community and raise awareness of the importance of concrete gestures for collective well-being.
Santobono-Pausilipon, a Neapolitan excellence in pediatric care, has always been a point of reference for thousands of families. Thanks to initiatives like this one, supported by organizations like USMIA and the Santobono Pausilipon Onlus association, young patients can experience moments of lightheartedness, feeling part of a network of affection and support that never leaves them alone. A symbol of hope that, this Easter, becomes even more tangible.

The USMIA Esercito initiative is very important for the children who are hospitalized. Easter eggs bring joy and hope in a difficult moment. I hope there are more events like this to help the little patients.
