Afragola – Concern is growing in Afragola over the disappearance of Martina Carbonaro, 14, who left home last night around 19:00 PM for a walk in Naples with some friends and hasn't returned since.
The incident has mobilized the Carabinieri, who are conducting active searches under the coordination of the Prosecutor's Office of North Naples and the Prefecture of Naples.
Martina last contacted her family at 20:30 PM yesterday, reassuring them that she would be back soon. Since then, however, her phone has been turned off or unreachable. The friends she was with do not seem to have any information on where she may have gone.
At the time of her disappearance, Martina was wearing jeans and a black T-shirt. The family, in anguish, filed a complaint with the Carabinieri of Afragola.
The police have confirmed that, at the moment, no bodies or clothing attributable to the girl have been found. The search continues without stopping, with the use of all available resources.
