It happened in Calitri, in Alta Irpinia, where a 36-year-old already known to the police for previous episodes of domestic violence was stopped and transferred to the prison of Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi.
According to the military's reconstruction, the young man had repeatedly demanded money from his family members and, faced with yet another refusal, he unleashed his aggression with brutal determination.

It's really sad that these things happen in the family, but I think there are always reasons behind these behaviors. Maybe there should be more attention to these problems to avoid such serious things from happening.
