Milan – The District Anti-Mafia Directorate has opened a case for attempted murder and illegal possession of weapons following the gun attack that took place on Wednesday in Via Imbriani, in the northern outskirts of Milan.
The victim of the raid is Luca Guerrini, 27, a Milan ultra linked to Luca Lucci, head of the Curva Sud currently detained as part of the investigation into criminal infiltration in the San Siro curves.
According to the reconstruction by the investigators of the Flying Squad, two men on a scooter pulled up alongside the Audi Q3 driven by Guerrini, firing three shots with a modified 9×21 caliber pistol. Two bullets hit the car, but not the driver.
The gun jammed after the third shot and Guerrini managed to escape
The third shot did not go off: the gun jammed. Guerrini managed to escape unharmed and told the police that he was probably the victim of mistaken identity.
The young man, already known for minor precedents and recipient of a Daspo in the past, is also the owner of a barber shop in the Italian Ink chain, attributable to Lucci. In his car, the officers found a flag and a banner of the Milan curve.
The episode closely resembles the 2019 attempted murder of another ultra, Enzo Anghinelli, for which Lucci is among the main accused as the alleged instigator. Today, the former leader of the Curva Sud will return to testify in the trial underway in the bunker courtroom in Milan.
Meanwhile, parallel investigations into the criminal business linked to the stadium continue: questioned Mauro Russo, a former well-known face of the Curva Nord and former business partner of Paolo Maldini and Bobo Vieri (not involved in the investigation), arrested in recent days in another strand.
Investigators are analyzing images from cameras and a dashcam to reconstruct the dynamics of the ambush and the movements of the attackers.
Luca Guerrini, said he was the victim of mistaken identity in the armed ambush he was targeted in yesterday in Milan. The man was hit by gunshots fired by two individuals on a motorbike while he was driving his Audi Q3.
According to his testimony, Guerrini managed to escape and returned to the scene of the ambush only after being contacted by telephone by his mother, the lease holder of the SUV, who was in turn reached by investigators.
The Flying Squad investigators are investigating the incident with the hypothesis of attempted murder. One element that emerged from the initial investigations is that the three shots fired at Guerrini's car came from a modified 9×21 blank gun.
The investigation is now focusing on the analysis of surveillance cameras in the area to reconstruct the path of the motorcycle used by the attackers, both before and after the attack. The goal is to identify the two men and shed light on the motive for the attack, verifying the hypothesis of mistaken identity advanced by the victim. At the moment, investigators are not excluding any leads.

The article I read is very interesting but there are many details that are not clear, such as why Guerrini was attacked and what will happen now. The investigations seem complex and I hope they get to the truth.
