The Inconvenient Plot
Young Angelo, a waiter at the Gran Caffè, plunges us into the dirty labyrinths of Naples, where adoration for footballers mixes with real dangers. Enter Marinella, a petite and seemingly harmless Sicilian woman, yet full of secrets that make her a manipulative queen bee. The protagonists find themselves trapped in a tangle of relationships to unravel, like Ariadne's thread, while a long night leaves permanent scars on their lives. The novel also includes "A Long Night," adding an extra touch of suspense that no one would dare ignore.

"Dopo una lunga notte" (After a Long Night) marks her second novel, confirming her ability to blend reality and fantasy to get the whole city talking.

It seems to me that this novel 'After a long night' has an interesting plot but I am not sure if I will like it. The presentation at the theater in Naples seems like a good event, but I do not have time to go there.
