Alvignano – The trial against Valentina Torino, 29, from Alvignano, and Ilaria Siciliano, 31, from Alife, accused of trespassing and defacing other people's property, has entered its final phase.

The two women – defended respectively by lawyers Giuseppe Rochira and Dario Mancino – ended up on trial at the request of the public prosecutor Anna Ida Capone, serving at the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere.

According to the prosecution, Torino and Siciliano allegedly entered without authorization into the home of Giuseppe Ponticorvo, a young entrepreneur in the dairy sector, damaging two valuable works of art - one by the painter Pier Toffoletti and the other by Domenico Di Genni - by using a ballpoint pen.

Not only that: the defendants also allegedly used bottles of wine and sparkling wine found in the house to deface clothing, furniture and walls of the apartment. Several ceramic objects, according to the reconstruction, were broken during the break-in.

The facts date back to a few years ago, when Ponticorvo, assisted by the lawyers Raffaele Gaetano and Gaetano Crisileo, filed a complaint at the Carabinieri Station of Alvignano. From there, the investigations that led to the opening of the criminal proceedings began.

In the last hearing, the defendants were heard and the surveillance videos of the house that would document the incident were shown in the courtroom. Ponticorvo has joined the trial as a civil party, currently underway before the sole judge Luigi Ferraiuolo. The next hearing is scheduled for July 4 to hear the witnesses indicated by the defense.
