The Naples Police Headquarters continues to take a hard line in the fight against drug trafficking. Yesterday evening, two men were arrested by the State Police in two separate operations a few blocks apart, right in the city center. The two, a 53-year-old Neapolitan and a 55-year-old of Tunisian origin, both with specific criminal records, were caught red-handed while selling doses of drugs in exchange for money.

The first arrest took place on Via Carbonara, where officers from the General Prevention Office observed an individual taking a small bag hidden next to a dumpster, and then handing the package to another individual.

The police's quick intervention allowed them to arrest the man, who was found with 80 euros in cash and, inside the bag, 49 doses of cocaine totaling over 10 grams.

Shortly after, in via Alessandro Poerio, the same officers witnessed another drug dealing scene. A 55-year-old Tunisian man gave away a dose of hashish from his pocket. At the sight of the police, he attempted to flee, but was immediately stopped. They found 6 bars of hashish and 80 euros on him, while the subsequent search of his home led to the seizure of two blocks of 146 grams in total, as well as cash and packaging material. Both men were arrested for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.

It's strange how the police always find people dealing drugs in the city center, maybe they should check other areas too, sometimes there are situations that seem too simple to be true and I don't know if the methods are right.
