Bare chest, gun in hand, challenging look and an unmistakable message: “Borrè, I'll give you that too”, accompanied by a laughing face and a middle finger. This is how a young boy chose to publicly provoke MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, who has long been at the forefront of the battle against urban decay, baby gangs and the display of violence on social media.
The video, shared on Instagram and reported by dozens of users, represents the latest act in an escalation that mixes bullying, delinquency and digital narcissism. A direct, almost theatrical challenge, aimed precisely at those who reported the circulation of weapons among minors in the Fuorigrotta neighborhood a few days ago, publishing the obscured photo of a baby criminal thanks to the report of an alarmed mother.
“Crime and violence are for them a show to be put on”, commented Borrelli. “These kids are victims and executioners of a sick system, which has stopped educating and which deludes itself into thinking it can ignore reality. But they won’t stop us.” The gun shown in the video could be a replica or a toy gun, but the message is real and dangerous, according to the Green-Side Alliance MP: “We live in a time when crime becomes viral content, and social notoriety has replaced legality as an aspiration. It is a devastating cultural short circuit.”
The episode has already been reported to the competent authorities, but for Borrelli it is not enough: “Behind every gun, real or fake, there is a family that has lost control, a school that has failed to educate, a city that risks giving up. But we do not give up”.

It is worrying to see how young people behave like this. Violence and crime should not be seen as a game, but unfortunately today it is like this. More education and attention is needed from families and schools.
This situation is really sad, kids should have fun and not think about these bad things. I hope the authorities take these episodes seriously and find a solution to help the youth.
