An eight-month-old baby was accidentally trapped inside his mother's car, only to be freed thanks to the prompt intervention of the Carabinieri.
The misadventure began when a young mother, after completing her shopping and placing her baby in his car seat, inadvertently left the car keys and remote control inside the passenger compartment.
Moments later, the vehicle's central locking system activated, locking the doors and preventing the woman from getting back in.
The mother immediately realized the gravity of the situation: the child was trapped inside with the windows closed, and the rising outside temperature posed a serious threat to his health.
