Coinciding with the end of the 2024-2025 football championship, which sees Napoli among the possible candidates for the dream of a fourth championship, the documentary BOSTIK LA BODEGA DE D26S, directed by Mauro Russo Rouge, will be released in theaters as a special event on May 27-28-10, distributed by Piano B Distribuzioni and will be previewed on May 22 at 21:00 pm at the Cinema Filangeri in Naples in the presence of the director Mauro Russo Rouge and Bostik (Antonio Esposito).
Produced by Systemout and written by the director himself together with Alessio Brusco, Bostik la bodega de d1os tells the story of Antonio Esposito, known as “Bostik” in the Spanish Quarter of Naples, who in the 90s had a mural painted in honor of the Pibe de Oro, making the opera square a tourist destination for fans from all over the world.
SYNOPSIS
Antonio Esposito, known as “Bostik” in the Spanish Quarter of Naples, is considered a true institution. For many, the “real tomb of Maradona” is located there thanks to him. It all started in the 90s, when Antonio had a mural made in honor of the Argentine champion. Today, that square is a tourist destination for fans from all over the world. Antonio created a commemorative altar with shirts, photos, memorabilia and a plaster bust, transforming a place once marked by drug dealing into a point of reference for football fans. His “Largo Maradona” has become a true place of football worship, thanks to his dedication. Founder of the “Teste Matte”, a group of ultras of Naples, Antonio contributed to the redevelopment of the neighborhood, a symbol of redemption and redemption, fueled by his faith in Maradona.
