Capri – The island of Capri is transformed into an open-air set for "The Bold and the Beautiful," one of the longest-running American soap operas on global television. The cast, led by iconic faces like Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) and Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester), has landed in Campania to film the new episodes, which will air in Italy in 2026.
Filming, which began between Naples and the blue island, is capturing the attention of tourists and residents, with breathtaking locations ranging from the famous Piazzetta to the suggestive Faraglioni.
Among the protagonists spotted in Capri are John McCook, the historical Eric Forrester, and Jack Wagner, who returned after a ten-year absence to play the role of Nick Marone. The latter was at the center of some scenes shot in the lively Piazzetta, after a picturesque tour of the island aboard an open-top taxi.
The cast then conquered the sea, with filming done in Marina Piccola and in front of the Faraglioni on an elegant Riva motorboat. Among the locations chosen was also the exclusive Canzone del Mare, where Valeria Marini made a surprise appearance, arousing curiosity among those present.
The filming, which alternates romantic scenarios and dramatic moments typical of the soap, promises to give Italian viewers a visual journey through the beauties of Capri and Naples. The arrival of “Beautiful” represents not only an event for fans of the series, but also an opportunity for international promotion for the wonders of Campania, ready to shine on the small screen.
