Neapolitan magistrates are once again at the center of the complex story of the disappearance of Angela Celentano, the little girl who vanished into thin air on August 10, 1996 during a family outing on Mount Faito, in the municipality of Castellammare di Stabia.
Anticipation is growing for the decision of GIP Federica Colucci regarding the request for archiving, advanced by the deputy prosecutor Giuseppe Cimmarotta, in reference to the so-called "Turkish lead".
This investigative hypothesis, started in 2009, originates from the testimony of blogger Vincenza Trentinella. The woman reported having collected the confidences of a priest, who would have revealed to her the confession of a parishioner: Angela Celentano would be alive and resident in Turkey.
Despite repeated requests from the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office to the Turkish authorities, no responses were ever received, leading the investigators to consider the continuation of this specific line of investigation impracticable and to request its archiving.
However, Angela Celentano 's parents and sisters are not giving up on the prospect of this trail being definitively dismissed. Through their lawyers, Luigi Ferrandino and Enrica Visconti, they have formally filed an opposition to the request for dismissal.

The Celentano family continues to nurture hope that the truth about the fate of their beloved little girl may yet emerge, also through the elements that emerged from the “Turkish lead”.
The decision of GIP Colucci will be crucial for the future of this investigative line, which for years has represented one of the few concrete hopes for Angela's family to obtain answers about her mysterious disappearance that occurred almost thirty years ago.
It is a very complicated and difficult situation to understand, the disappearance of Angela Celentano has left many unanswered questions, I do not understand why the Turkish authorities do not respond, perhaps there are some truths that they do not want to reveal.
