Castel Volturno – He was wanted for a final sentence of over two years in prison for property crimes and tax evasion, committed between 2014 and 2018 in the province of Naples.

A 53-year-old man was arrested by officers from the Casal di Principe Police Station, who tracked him down in a dilapidated villa near the Volturno River, in Castel Volturno.

The man had disappeared after the order for his arrest was issued by the Naples Prosecutor's Office, moving between various residences in the Naples area and on the Domitian coast to evade capture. Once located, he was transferred to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison.

This man's arrest was shocking news to many, but I don't understand how he was able to hide for so long. The police seem to have done a good job in finally finding him, but there are still so many questions.
