Tight controls and a firm hand from the Municipal Police in Naples, where the agents of the Secondigliano and Stella Operational Units have put the Montesomma market area and some areas of the historic center under the magnifying glass, with a vast operation against commercial irregularities and urban decay.
In the heart of the Montesomma market, four food businesses were targeted, all fined for illegal occupation of public land, in violation of the concessions issued. No tolerance for those who expand their business beyond the permitted limits. Even among the 14 non-food businesses checked, despite all being in compliance with separate waste collection, anti-smoking regulations and urban decorum, in four cases slight anomalies emerged, for which a warning was issued.
But it doesn't end there. The officers also extended the checks to via Dante and via padre Gaetano Errico: out of four commercial establishments inspected, three were fined for illegally invading the roadway. Another establishment was found to be completely without authorization to operate, with a consequent fine.
Meanwhile, in the Sanità neighborhood, a joint effort between the Stella Operational Unit and the GPV Abandoned Vehicle Unit led to the removal of 17 vehicles, including 15 mopeds and two cars in a clearly abandoned state. The vehicles, many without license plates or the minimum requirements for road circulation, were recovered between Via San Severo a Capodimonte, Via Sanità, Via Macedonia, Via San Gennaro dei Poveri, Via Santa Maria Antesaecula, Salita, and Supportico Capodimonte.
