Naples – Disruptions are expected for those who travel by public transport operated by Ente Autonomo Volturno (EAV). The transport company has announced a 24-hour labor strike called by the Os Orsa union for Sunday, May 11, 2025.
The strike will particularly affect the thousands of tourists who travel along the line and head from Naples to Pompeii and Sorrento and vice versa.
The official communication came through EAV's social channels, informing users of the possible repercussions on the service. Despite the national strike, the company specified that some essential service time slots will be guaranteed, specifically from 05:30 to 08:30 and from 16:30 to 19:30.
However, outside of these time windows, the actual circulation of trains and buses will be strictly linked to the number of workers who will join the work stoppage. This means that the journeys could be significantly reduced or cancelled.
