Rome. After the great success of the first edition, which involved top managers and professionals from important corporate entities, the Executive Program Gender Equality Management, created by Lefebvre Giuffrè, leader in Italy in offering traditional and digital publishing solutions for professionals in the legal, tax, labor and business sectors and part of the Lefebvre group.
The program, conceived and directed by the jurist Florinda Scicolone, one of the leading national and international experts in regulations and strategies for gender equality in companies, is aimed at companies that want to tackle the challenges posed by the new European regulations on pay transparency with competence and strategic vision and want to enhance gender equality.
The goal is to train a new generation of Gender Equality Officers, a figure increasingly in demand to ensure regulatory compliance and enhance equal opportunities as a competitive asset and ethical value for employer branding.
The new edition will be held under the patronage of important associations: AIGI (Italian Association of Corporate Lawyers), Aitra (Italian Association of Transparency and Anti-Corruption), Fondazione Marisa Bellisario, Ceo for Life and Global Women in PR Italy, which confirm the strategic value and relevance of the training course for the corporate world.
The executive will be held in intensive mode from 1 to 3 July 2025: the first day in person in Rome, in the Italiacamp Opificio, while the following two days will take place in synchronous online mode.
Making the training experience unique will be a high-profile faculty composed of 31 leading professionals: university professors, corporate lawyers, compliance experts, communication managers and advisors in the ESG and gender equality fields.
Among the testimonials of the second edition are Simona Alberini (ABB), Mario Alessandra (Mindwork), Elena Bottinelli (San Donato Group), Eleonora Caronia (SPS Italia), Claudia Cattani (BNL BNP Paribas), Beatrice Coletti, Francesca Mariotti (Almaviva), Elisa Zambito Marsala (Intesa Sanpaolo), Francesca Pili (FNM Group), Diego Pisa (Teleperformance Italia) and Elena Salzano (Incoerenze).
At the opening of the works on July 1st there will be the extraordinary participation of Lella Golfo, President of the Marisa Bellisario Foundation and first signatory of the Golfo-Mosca Law, together with the Director of the Training area of Lefebvre Giuffrè, Elisa Bettini, and other Presidents who sponsor the initiative: Giuseppe Catalano, Giorgio Martellino, Carola Salvato, Giordano Fatali and Florinda Scicolone herself.
In preparation for the launch of the second edition, an online Open Day was held today, an opportunity designed to present the strategic value of the program to companies and stakeholders.
During the meeting, Florinda Scicolone offered an in-depth look at the regulatory evolution in terms of gender equality in Italy and illustrated the new features of the 2025 edition of the Executive Program. A moment open to dialogue, useful for learning more about the training approach, discussing business cases and discovering the professional opportunities associated with the role of Gender Equality Officer.
“It is an educational/innovative project - explains Florinda Scicolone, scientific director of 'Gender Equality Management' of Lefebvre Giuffrè - Today, to face the challenges of developing gender policies, equal opportunities in companies, in large companies but also in medium-sized companies, we need to look at a strategy in a transversal way.
This training path aims to train figures who know how to manage, who know how to implement the development of gender policies in a completely transversal way between human resources, legal management, compliance management, sustainability management and communication management. For these five directions there must be figures in charge with trained 'experts', so that they can develop the long-term strategy, but above all frame the development of gender policies.
We have five important sponsorships that support this cultural shift, so that companies take the helm and understand that the development of gender policies must become a strategic business asset".
For Carola Salvato, Cofounder and President of Global Women in PR (GWPR), “participating in this program was truly inspiring because for the first time we brought together points of view, expectations and above all needs.
As regards 'Gender Equality Management', we will deal with the topic of communication, because communicating is many things: informing, connecting, involving, specifying, deepening, but it is also, above all, creating awareness.
Therefore, it is unthinkable to implement a policy within a company, which takes into account the needs of the entire organization and how it is also projecting us towards the issues of equality, equity, representation, without entering into the space of how to communicate it.
The purpose of the communication session is to enable people to understand the narrative: how much impact and how important it is to create conventions and perceptions in opportunities, because real change happens at the moment of joining and provide resources to be even more competent and even more fair or just in pursuing common goals”.

The Gender Equality Management program seems to me a very interesting initiative, but I am not sure if it is enough to solve the problems of gender equality in companies. Let's hope that there are concrete results and not just words.
