Milan – Emanuele De Maria, the prisoner who escaped last Friday from Bollate prison, where he was serving a 14-year and 3-month sentence for femicide and who had been on the run for two days after stabbing a co-worker, was recognized by his tattoos.
He took his own life early Saturday afternoon, jumping from the terraces of Milan Cathedral. His identification was achieved through the numerous tattoos on his arms.
