AIROLA – The 41-year-old man from Airola accused of aggravated mistreatment of his ex-partner appeared this morning before the investigating judge Roberto Nuzzo for the preliminary hearing. The man, defended by the lawyer Vittorio Fucci, is subject to the precautionary measure of the prohibition of approach with an electronic bracelet, which requires him to stay at least 500 meters away from the woman and the places she usually frequents.
According to what emerged from the investigations of the Flying Squad of Benevento, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office, the circumstantial framework outlined is extremely serious: the violence, which began in the spring of 2023, was systematic, physical and psychological, and also took place in front of the minor children.
The testimonies collected and the numerous materials acquired - videos, images, chats and medical certificates - document a brutal escalation made of spitting, slaps, punches, attempts at strangulation and obsessive control. In a particularly violent episode, the man allegedly hit the woman with a punch, fracturing her ulna and forcing her to undergo surgery.
The violence, according to the prosecution's reconstruction, continued even after the end of the cohabitation, with threats, stakeouts and raids on the victim's workplace and her mother's home. The judge will now have to evaluate the position of the suspect in light of the evidence collected, while the community remains shocked by yet another case of domestic violence carried out in silence and fear.

This is a very serious situation, I hope that justice will take its course and that the woman can finally feel safe. Of course, it is sad to see how in these cases there is more and more violence and mistreatment.
