In the middle of the night, a Neapolitan teenager of only 16 years old with a long history of trouble with the law found himself in handcuffs after attempting to steal a motorcycle parked in the historic center.
The officers of the Office of General Prevention and Public Aid, during a routine check of the territory, spotted the suspect while he was fiddling with a motorcycle parked in via Calata Trinità Maggiore.
The officers intervened in a flash to stop him, blocking the boy, finding him with a flat-head screwdriver in his hand. The scooter, in the meantime, had already been tampered with: the ignition latch was damaged and the steering lock completely ruined, leaving little room for doubt about the crime in progress.
At that point, the staff proceeded to arrest him for attempted aggravated theft.

This article about the Neapolitan boy who tried to steal a scooter is very interesting. Unfortunately, situations like this happen often. I hope the young man can learn from his mistakes and find a better path for the future.
