Naples is preparing to experience another night of football and passion, and it's also doing so on the tracks. On the occasion of the Serie A match between Napoli and Genoa, scheduled for Sunday 11 May at 20:45 at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium, the Metro Line 2 is extending its service with seven extraordinary runs, to facilitate the outflow of spectators after the final whistle.
The operation is made possible by the collaboration between Trenitalia (Regional Division), the Campania Region and the Municipality of Naples. The additional trains, departing from the Naples Campi Flegrei station, will offer a total of 3.400 additional seats: five direct trips to San Giovanni-Barra and two to Pozzuoli, to ensure a safe and orderly return to the many fans expected in the stands.
The security plan is clear: access to the trains only with a valid ticket, to be shown to Trenitalia staff and the Police present at the station. The Campi Flegrei ticket office will remain open until the end of the event, while customer service and FS Security stations will be operational both in Campi Flegrei and in Naples Piazza Garibaldi. For organizational reasons, the Piazza Leopardi station will close at 22:30 pm.

The initiative for the Napoli-Genoa match is great. But I hope the additional trains aren't too crowded, it's important that fans can return home safely and without problems. Great job.
