Naples - The State Police have executed an arrest warrant issued by the Naples Juvenile Prosecutor's Office against a fifteen-year-old boy believed responsible for the serious injury to a peer that occurred late yesterday evening in Piazza Dante, in the heart of the Neapolitan capital.
The arrested youth will face serious charges of attempted murder. The alarm was raised around 23:30 PM when the Naples Police Headquarters operations room received a report of a fifteen-year-old boy with critical condition arriving at the Vecchio Pellegrini Hospital.
His condition immediately appeared critical, with a guarded prognosis due to the eight deep stab wounds he suffered to his abdomen and limbs.
The Flying Squad officers, who immediately responded to the scene, began an investigation under the coordination of the Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court of Naples.

According to the investigators' reconstruction, the violent episode would have arisen from previous arguments and trivial disagreements between the two young people, who frequent the same meeting places in the city center.
In short, this is yet another episode of bad nightlife, increasingly common among minors who see their evenings as opportunities not for "meeting" but for "confrontation." The reasons are often trivial, indeed, sadly nonexistent.
The arrested fifteen-year-old was transferred to the Colli Aminei First Reception Center, where he will remain awaiting questioning by the preliminary investigations judge (GIP) of the Juvenile Court, who will have to validate the arrest and decide on any precautionary measures to be adopted.
The episode sheds a worrying light on the phenomenon of juvenile violence linked to nightlife, highlighting a worrying trend in relationships between very young people.

It is a real shame that young people find themselves fighting and hurting each other in this way. The consequences of these acts can be serious, and I hope that there is a solution to stop this violence among young people.
