The Municipality of Naples has opened applications for over 800 social inclusion internships for citizens in conditions of economic fragility. The initiative, financed by the Poverty Fund, aims to promote personal autonomy and job placement through concrete experiences in companies, with a monthly allowance of 600 euros.
The internships are aimed at residents between 16 and 59 years old, with ISEE up to 9.360 euros and supported by social services, including beneficiaries of the Inclusion Allowance. The activities will take place in companies in the tourism, services, fashion, events, construction and mechanics sectors.
"It is a concrete opportunity to accompany vulnerable individuals towards a path of dignity and work," said Mayor Gaetano Manfredi. Councilor Chiara Marciani emphasized the goal of bridging the gap between required and available skills, relaunching employability in the territory's driving sectors.
Applications can be submitted on the dedicated platform:

The initiative seems well structured and useful for many young people who need help to enter the world of work. I hope that there are enough places available for all those who need them and that the requirements are not too strict.
