Naples – Night of checks in the Baretti di Chiaia, the heart of Neapolitan nightlife. The Carabinieri of the Naples Center Company, together with Asl Napoli 1 and the Municipal Police, conducted an extraordinary operation to ensure safety and legality.
Three illegal parking attendants, already known for property and drug crimes, were reported and removed from the "red zone" for harassing passers-by. On the Highway Code front, out of 48 fines issued, 17 concern driving without a helmet.
A young man was reported for driving without a license (with repeat offence) and a man for counterfeit license plates. 16 scooters were seized.

Checks also on food safety: 11 businesses inspected, 16 fines and 13 prescriptions for hygiene-sanitary irregularities. 10 kg of untraceable food seized, two businesses suspended.

The operation in the bars seems right to me, but more frequent checks are needed because there are too many people doing illegal things. It is important to guarantee safety and that young people are not involved in dangerous situations.
