Naples – An attempted robbery turned into a bloody ambush last night at the gas station on Via Domenico Fontana in the heart of the Arenella neighborhood.
Three criminals, still on the run, stabbed two gas station employees after they resisted the criminal raid.
Around 20:00 PM, the three bandits broke into the gas station , targeting two gas station attendants—a 63-year-old and a 67-year-old, both Neapolitan—with the intent of emptying the cash register. However, the two elderly but determined employees resisted the attack, sparking a violent brawl.

In the melee, the criminals pulled out a knife, repeatedly wounding the two men in the limbs, before fleeing in a car. Emergency services arrived promptly: transported in red code to Cardarelli, the injured were treated and already discharged, but with prognoses of 30 and 20 days respectively.
The Flying Squad and the officers of the Arenella police station are investigating the case, having already acquired the footage from the surveillance cameras in the area. The images could reveal faces, license plates or decisive details to trace the identity of the three robbers, still in the shadows.
