Daniela Strazzullo, a 30-year-old from the Torretta neighborhood, died this morning at the Ospedale del Mare, where she had been hospitalized since yesterday morning. She was shot in the head yesterday by her ex-partner, Ilaria Capezzuto, 34, who later committed suicide out of jealousy.
The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition, and doctors did everything they could to save her. The tragedy, or rather, murder-suicide, occurred yesterday morning between Volla and the eastern suburbs of Naples, where Capezzuto lives. She also has a young daughter with her ex-husband.
