Naples – Around 22:20 p.m. The Carabinieri of the San Giovanni a Teduccio command intervened in an emergency at Corso Nicolangelo Protopisani 70, in the heart of the Neapolitan neighborhood.
The report to 112 came from a passerby, who noticed some people climbing over the perimeter wall of the Federico II university complex, home to the Polytechnic School and Basic Sciences.
Thieves tried to steal computer equipment
When they arrived on site, the military found an attempted theft: unknown individuals, who had fled shortly before the arrival of the police, had tried to steal boxes containing computer equipment.
Specialists from the Carabinieri Investigative Unit's survey section , supported by private security personnel, also responded to the scene to reconstruct the incident and gather evidence useful for the investigation. Authorities are continuing their investigation to identify those responsible.

It is important that the carabinieri intervened in time, but I do not understand why people continue to attempt thefts in universities. Places of study should be safer, so these strange things do not happen.
