New photographs of the Santo Romano killer, taken inside the Airola juvenile prison, have appeared on social media in the last few hours.
The images, accompanied by the caption “18 years and 9 months pass”, once again show the illicit use of cell phones inside the penitentiary institution.

The mother of victim announced the filing of a complaint to request searches of the cells, with the aim of seizing the illegally held devices.
MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli (Green Alliance – Left) also spoke out on the matter: “It is yet another outrage to Santo’s memory. Each photo reopens a wound in his family and is an insult to justice. It is unacceptable that prison becomes a stage for those who should be serving a sentence. We need strict controls and checks on any internal complicity. The State must guarantee legality and respect”.

It's strange to see that there are phones in prison and that people take pictures like that, it's not clear how they can get in. The mother is right to ask for controls, but there should also be more severity in the punishment.
