A spectacular “Starry party”, with a “starry” themed party and in the spirit of friendship, fun and cinema to celebrate in the splendid setting of Villa Diamante in Naples the 18th birthday of Federica Vecchione, a young Neapolitan actress passionate about cinema, theatre, piano and dance, and committed to social work with the Interact Club of Ulisse.
Who is Federica Vecchione?
A student at Sannazaro Classical High School, Federica Vecchione took her first steps in the performing arts at just seven years old at the Teatro Totò drama school. She then continued her artistic career at a musical theater academy, where she studied acting, singing, and dance—particularly tap dancing—before devoting her time to film acting, entrusting her artistic training to Giuseppe Mastrocinque's "PM7 Lab" Academy. Over the years, she has worked with leading directors such as Jerry Calà (in "Who Kidnapped Jerry Calà"), Sergio Assisi ("My Kingdom for a Butterfly"), and Giuseppe Alessio Nuzzo ("Like Romeo and Juliet"). On stage, she played the role of Simonetta Lamberti, an innocent victim of the Camorra, in Diego Sommaripa's "Nel campo delle viole." Federica has close ties to Nuzzo, as he was her former teacher and the artistic director of the Vico Equense Social World Film Festival and the Pulcinella Film Festival. The young Neapolitan actress has been an Ambassador for these initiatives for four years, conducting guest interviews with selector Emanuele Donadio, leading activities for the young participants, chairing the young jury, and acting as an interpreter for the international guests.
Alongside Federica, ready to welcome the guests to the party and providing decisive support in organizing the party, were her parents Rosario Vecchione and Maria Rosaria Lomasti, business consultants and leaders of Value consulting - one of the leading companies at a national level in subsidized finance for businesses - and her brother Vincenzo Vecchione, who is also passionate not only about cinema (a world in which he made his debut at the age of twelve in a documentary directed by Pupi Avati) but also about football and sailing.
The dress
Federica Vecchione's sparkling dress, who chose the theme "stars" for her party inspired by the film "Polvere di stelle" by her cinematic idol Monica Vitti, was made according to her wishes by the famous stylist Gianni Molaro, who created three models for different moments of the evening where elegance, precious fabrics, lace and embroidery and 5 bright stars for the first dress always stood out. The number 5, day and month of Federica's birth, was a recurring element in many details of the event, including the 5 tiers of the sparkling cake.
The guests at the party
The party was attended by over 200 of Federica's friends, with a private area on the first floor of the villa dedicated to 70 guests, relatives, friends and colleagues of her parents, Maria Rosaria Lomasti and Rosario Vecchione, professionals not only specialized in multidisciplinary business consulting but also always committed to social activities with the activities of the Lions Club Partenope Palazzo Reale.
