A fire broke out yesterday evening, around 21 pm, in the basement of the ASL Napoli 3 Sud health district in Pomigliano d'Arco.
The flames, which affected an area used as an archive, were quickly put out by the Fire Department. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
At the time of the incident, the entire structure was closed to the public. The damage, limited, concerns some folders of documents and walls blackened by smoke. The origin of the fire is still unknown: on site no elements were found that could suggest a malicious cause, but investigations will clarify.
The strategic management of the ASL Napoli 3 Sud, led by director Giuseppe Russo, announced the presentation of a complaint to the judicial authorities and guaranteed full collaboration to the investigators.
