Yesterday was a tense afternoon at the Rione Trajan where a 29-year-old Neapolitan with a repeat offender's record was arrested for threatening and obstructing the work of a public official in the neighborhood.
During a routine patrol, officers from the San Paolo Police Station and the Office of General Prevention and Public Aid intercepted a suspicious lookout activity near a building on Via Tertulliano, immediately reporting tensions in an area already known for its problems.
Attempting to enter the building for a check, the police officers encountered the 29-year-old, who reacted with pure arrogance, refusing to cooperate and blocking the entrance.
When asked for his ID, the man lost control, screaming and yelling until he threatened the officers, forcing the officers to intervene with an immediate arrest for resisting arrest and threats.
