Angri – A brawl that broke out in the heart of the nightlife, culminating in four people being injured by a knife, led this morning to the execution of six personal precautionary measures by the Carabinieri of the Angri Station. Angri, with the support of the Territorial Department of Nocera Inferiore.
The measures, ordered by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Nocera Inferiore, concern an equal number of young people involved in the violent events that occurred during the night between August 31 and September 1, 2024 in Piazza Doria, the nerve center of the city's nightlife.
According to the investigators' reconstruction, the fight that broke out between two opposing groups quickly degenerated, leaving four people on the ground with stab wounds.

At the conclusion of the investigation, on May 5th the investigating judge ordered six of the individuals – considered the main perpetrators of the brawl – to remain in their municipality of residence, with the requirement to remain at home during the night hours, from 22:00 pm to 06:00 am.

It is true that young people must be more responsible, but institutions should also do more to ensure safety in meeting places. We must understand the reason for this violence.
