San Cipriano d'Aversa – A 20-year-old man was arrested this morning by Carabinieri from the San Cipriano d'Aversa station and the Casal di Principe mobile unit on charges of domestic abuse and threats.
The young man, at the height of an argument with his father, allegedly brandished a kitchen knife, threatening to kill both parents.
The military intervened after the family members called for help. The boy, barricaded in his room, was convinced to open the door, but the search did not reveal the weapon.
According to what has emerged, a similar episode had already occurred at the end of 2024, when the 20-year-old allegedly threatened his family members with a knife again.
After his arrest, the young man was taken to the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, awaiting the decisions of the judicial authorities.
It is very sad that episodes like this occur, domestic violence is a serious problem and should not be underestimated. We hope that the young man receives the help he needs to overcome this situation.
