Yesterday morning, the State Police arrested two 21-year-olds, one of whom is Neapolitan with a police record and the other of Albanian origin, with a police record, for improper robbery, personal injury and resisting a public official.
In particular, the police officers Scampia, following a note received by the local Operations Room, intervened in via Emilio Scaglione to report a scam against an elderly woman.
Specifically, a person, pretending to be one of her sons, had contacted the elderly woman by telephone asking her for a sum of money and some gold jewellery that she was supposed to deliver to another person who would arrive at her home shortly thereafter, specifying that the sum of money would be used to pay the costs of an accident.

It's strange how people can fall for these scams. It's important that people are more informed about these situations. The Police have done a good job, but there should be more prevention to avoid similar things from happening.
