The ANT Foundation organizes a solidarity walk that mixes ancient folklore and fundraising, promising to shake distracted tourists from their daily torpor.

Called “Sireneide – On the Trail of Partenope”, this initiative is not just a cultural trip, but a real open-air “challenge” to hunt down the hidden images of the siren in the historic alleys, heading straight to the place where, according to legend, Partenope found her eternal rest. An event that could make you feel like a mythological hero, or at least a little less like a banal tourist.
A Rebel Dive in the Heart of Naples
On Sunday, May 18 at 11:00, with the support of the ArtDALB association, participants will venture into the Historic Center of Naples for an immersive journey through myth, art and unexpected discoveries. It's not for the faint of heart: you'll have to sharpen your eyesight to hunt for the invisible traces of the mermaid, transforming a simple walk into a wild and unconventional exploration, far from the usual inflated tourist itineraries.
Solidarity with a Touch of Drama
The event, part of the “Art, culture and solidarity” cycle, is not limited to fun: every cent collected will go to finance the free activities of the ANT Foundation, which for over 45 years has assisted approximately 3.000 cancer patients per day in Italy, including Naples and Caserta. With medical teams offering home care and prevention, such as the free visits for melanoma scheduled for late May and early June (https://ant.it/prevenzione/), this walk could be your way to make a difference without too many frills.
Practical Details for the Brave
The itinerary starts from Piazza Bovio in Naples (meeting at 10:45), lasts about an hour and a half, and is open to adults and families. The contribution is €15 for adults, €7 for children (7-14 years) and free for children up to 6 years. Reservations required: contact the ANT delegation of Naples at the numbers 081 6338318 | 348 3150325 | 328 8427184. Ready to chase sirens and support the cause?

The event seems interesting, but I don't know if people are ready to invest time and money for something like this. Naples needs initiatives like this, but I hope there are more details on what to expect.
