The props, mask and costume are by Domenico Latronico, the lighting concept is by Elena Vastano and the technical lighting adaptation by Virna Prescenzo.
An arcane entity spies on the lives of others, petrified in its immobile existence, made of thoughts and glances, seeking answers to its own mystery, yearning to be as true and alive as the characters who appear before it.
They are worlds revealed just in the moment of a flash, stolen from time, exciting adventures and terrifying mirrors in which to observe oneself. A Sicilian girl tries in vain to hide her worries, Fear becomes a presence to dialogue with, a solitary and extravagant woman lives in a chaotic Roman building, a fake suicide awakens the life of a neighborhood, a wandering writer dreams of love and freedom in a cemetery, a dead man speaks from his own grave, a woman in mourning is able to predict the future. Fleeting stories made of horrors, dreams, expectations, desires that in a flash can be revealing like a flash of lightning in a dark night.

A curious being observes the streets of the city, looks through the walls of the houses, peers into the intimacies, intrigued by the inexplicable whirlwind of life. He desperately wants to recognize himself in a face; it is the spirit that urgently needs to become form, the conscience in search of answers to its own mystery, life itself, which seems easy to be able to enclose in a category, only to then understand that this will never be enough to contain it. As in a ritual without beginning or end, he calls to himself figures whose stories are united by the collision with the limit. Those evoked are tragicomic, funny, delicate, terrible, powerful characters, caught in their disorientation: the darkness of a room on a sleepless night, a crowded building and the impossibility of having relationships, a cemetery and the desperate need to love, the condemnation of being able to predict the inevitable things that destiny reserves. Like modern urban myths these stories accompany us in the unveiling of life and the kaleidoscope of possibilities that compose it. Dissolution and rebirth must necessarily coexist so that the deception of identity can find new life within itself, to finally be true and alive.
