Torre del Greco is preparing to rediscover its historic heart with the new edition of La Via dei Tesori: 1,2 km between history and faith, a cultural itinerary that intertwines spirituality and heritage of the coral city.
The initiative, promoted by Octava APS with the contribution of the Campania Region and the patronage of the Municipality, involves local organizations such as the Vesuvius Archaeological Group, the Wesuvio association, and the Querce di Giustizia Community.
Five events, starting from Saturday 31 May 2025, will guide visitors along a 1,2 km route in the historic centre. Seven sites are open to the public, starting at 16 pm from the Church of San Pietro in Calastro, followed by stops at the Church of Santa Maria del Principio, the Grotto of the Madonna, the Church of San Michele Arcangelo, the Hypogeum of the Souls, the Basilica of Santa Croce and the House of San Vincenzo Romano.
The next dates will be June 7, 28 and 29 (coinciding with the Feast of the Four Altars) and September 27.
