A Journey Through Time Full of Intrigue
The Stone Testament draws visitors into a whirlwind of history, alchemy and science, focusing on the controversial genius of Raimondo di Sangro, the prince who had no qualms about mixing myths with reality. Alongside him, the figures of the sculptor Giuseppe Sanmartino and the doctor Giuseppe Salerno emerge, in a narrative that alternates monologues and dialogues to enliven the journey. Spectators will explore the museum's nave, where works such as the Veiled Christ triumph - that masterpiece shrouded in an aura of mystery that makes critics pale - along with Modesty, Disillusionment and the underground Cavea, home to the macabre Anatomical Machines. It is an itinerary that does not skimp on disconcerting details, staging the plot of a prince who challenged ignorance with his legendary aura.
The Works That Make You Shiver
Among the wonders of the museum complex, the public comes face to face with sculptures that seem to defy the laws of nature, such as the Veiled Christ and other creations conceived by Raimondo di Sangro as a sepulchral temple for his heirs. This theatrical visit is not for the faint of heart: intertwining the life of the prince with those of Sanmartino and Salerno, the show alternates moments of tension and revelations, transporting everyone into a world where genius flows into legends that are still discussed today.
The Prince's Visionary Vision
Sponsored by the Museo Cappella Sansevero and created by NarteA, this initiative celebrates the complex figure of Raimondo di Sangro – inventor, patron, and pillar of the early Enlightenment – in a tale that balances facts and myths. At the center is his rebellious spirit, which stated “through reason man achieves disillusionment and frees himself from false truths,” offering a bold perspective on an era of innovation and secrets. The museum spaces become the perfect stage for this adventure, where the public discovers how his life, full of mysteries, continues to intrigue and scandalize.

The event seems very interesting and engaging but I don't know if I will be able to go because I have commitments already made. The combination of history and alchemy is fascinating, but the tickets are a bit too expensive in my opinion.
