Naples - Those responsible for the injury to a 59-year-old woman, who is currently undergoing treatment at San Giovanni Bosco Hospital, yesterday afternoon at a commercial establishment in Fuorigrotta have been identified and charged.
These are six children (two girls and four boys) between the ages of 12 and 16. They police of the Naples Bagnoli company arrived after incessant investigations and thanks to the help of the numerous video surveillance cameras that filmed the scene and the escape of the six.
The episode occurred yesterday afternoon: according to the reconstruction, the woman had a heated argument with the group inside the shop, ending up being violently hit in the back.
The woman suffered a serious head injury
The fall caused her a head injury: she was rescued and initially transported to San Paolo, but was then urgently transferred to San Giovanni Bosco, where she remains under observation.

The Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, also addressed the incident, expressing his "firm condemnation of this despicable act" and his deepest sympathy for the victim, wishing her a speedy recovery. The Prefect ordered immediate increased security in the Fuorigrotta area and announced that the case will be discussed at the next meeting of the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security.
The episode raises the alarm again about baby gangs and the growing youth violence in the city: a problem that does not only concern the city of Naples but that manifests itself daily throughout Italy: from schools to madhouses, from beaches to nightlife clubs and that often leads, unfortunately, to dramatic epilogues.

It is truly sad that young people so young are involved in episodes of violence. It is a serious problem that afflicts not only Naples, but all of Italy. I hope that effective solutions are found to prevent such situations.
I agree with what was said. It is important to address the issue of baby gangs in a serious and constructive way. The safety of people, especially the elderly, must be a priority for everyone.
