The man who was injured by gunshots is 47-year-old Domenico Esposito. He is hospitalized in serious conditions but not in danger of life at the Cardarelli hospital in Naples where he was transported after passing through the Villa dei Fiori clinic.
Two bullets hit him in the abdomen, without damaging any vital organs, and in a leg. The victim, according to what was reported to the Police, while he was in Via Marconi he was approached by a person who fired a shot with a firearm, wounding him.
Lone killer identified thanks to images from video surveillance cameras
The agents of the police station Acerra and the Naples Flying Squad solved the case in a few hours by stopping the suspect thanks also to the images from the video surveillance cameras present in the area.
The arrested person is being interrogated in the presence of his lawyer and before the prosecutor of the Naples North Prosecutor's Office who could issue a precautionary measure against him.

This shooting in Acerra is a very complicated situation. I wonder how it is possible for something like this to happen in broad daylight. The police did a good job in stopping the suspect but more prevention is needed.
