Castellammare – Night of checks in the lively and noisy Stabiese nightlife which becomes increasingly crowded and at the same time dangerous over the weekend.
In recent weeks, there have been some news stories, despite the "red zone" established by the prefect, which have led to an intensification of checks by the police.
And last night, in fact, the Carabinieri of the Castellammare di Stabia Company, together with officers of the Municipal Police, conducted a "High Impact" operation aimed at monitoring the city's nightlife, particularly in the most sensitive areas of the Stabia center.
The activity involved several areas of the city center, with checks aimed at road safety, the fight against widespread illegality and the protection of urban decorum. Not at home, an entrepreneur was fined because his commercial business illegally occupied the road.

During the service, one person was removed from the so-called " red zone " for being caught repeatedly engaging in illegal parking. One person was reported for driving without a revoked license, and another person was reported for illegal parking.
On the road traffic control front, 34 vehicles and 98 people were checked, of which 31 were already known to the police. The activity ended with 26 traffic violations for a total amount of 10.268,00 euros.
Specifically: 1 violation for parking in residential areas, 13 violations for failure to have a vehicle inspected, 1 violation for driving without a license, 1 violation for failure to use a protective helmet, 1 violation for failure to use a seat belt, 3 violations for using electronic devices while driving, 2 violations for lack of documents, 2 violations for failure to comply with the obligation to stop at a checkpoint and 2 violations for lack of insurance coverage.
The checks, as per the instructions of the Prefect of Naples, Michele Di Bari , will also be carried out in the coming days and will be intensified on weekends and throughout the summer period.
It's a good thing that controls have been intensified, because the nightlife in Castellammare has become too dangerous. I hope that these interventions will serve to guarantee greater safety for everyone and reduce illegal behavior.
