The provision, signed by the prefect of Naples, Michele Di Bari, was issued against the Euro Società cooperativa sociale association which, according to information from the judicial authorities, was still open and operational.
The measure passed was notified to the direct descendants of the deceased boss. The anti-mafia activities are part of the intense anti-mafia prevention activity, launched by the Prefecture with the support of the Police Force and the Anti-mafia Investigation Division, and which saw the Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, adopt five additional interdictions against as many companies - operating in the sectors of catering and bars, construction, wholesale trade of paints and building products and cleaning, custody, security, gardening and parking services - with offices in the Municipalities of Naples, Villaricca and Giugliano in Campania.
The work carried out at the Prefecture continues to provide a valid contrast to the pollution of the healthy economy by companies exploited or influenced by organized crime, as well as a significant contribution to the safeguarding of economic public order, the protection of free competition between companies and the good performance of the Public Administration.

The article explains the current situation well but I don't know if interdictions are always the right solution. Often there are consequences even for those who are not at fault and the risk is that more problems are created than solutions.
