Avellino – Bandits in action at the Bisaccia Post Office in the province of Avellino. The gang used the “marmotta” technique (an explosive device that, once triggered, causes the detonation of the cash register to take possession of the money) so widespread in recent times.
With this technique a group of bandits attacked the ATM of the Bisaccia Post Office, in the province of Avellino. The roar, shortly before five this morning in Via Roma, was heard throughout the small Irpinia town and woke up a large part of the population.
There were many alarm calls to 112. On site the policeof the Compagnia di Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi who are viewing the images recorded by the video surveillance cameras in the area. The dispenser was destroyed. The loot has yet to be quantified.

This is a very worrying situation, this one of bandits using the marmot technique. There should be more security in the post office and ATMs, so that citizens feel more protected and calm.
