Naples – An evening of tight controls yesterday in Colli Aminei, where the State Police inspected a well-known, very popular commercial establishment, uncovering a series of serious violations.
The operation, conducted by the agents of the Arenella Police Station with the support of the Local Police (UO Stella), the ASL NA1 Centro and the Labor Inspectorate, led to the identification of 8 people and the imposition of 5 administrative sanctions for a total of 3.500 euros.
The checks revealed worrying hygienic-sanitary conditions, such as to require the immediate suspension of the use of the rooms on the ground floor.
Several quantities of poorly preserved food seized
The operators also seized several quantities of food in poor condition, also finding the failure to present the temporary SCIA (Certified Notification of Commencement of Activity) for the serving of drinks, a violation that led to a further sanction for one of the two companies operating in the premises. To complete the picture, the presence of an unregistered worker emerged.
The intervention, which involved multiple entities for a coordinated action, underlines the authorities' commitment to ensuring compliance with hygiene and work regulations, to protect consumers and workers' rights. Investigations are continuing to ascertain further responsibilities.
