Castellammare di Stabia – The first year of the Path for Transversal Skills and Orientation (PCTO) dedicated to the role of Condominium Administrator, created thanks to the synergy between the Higher Education Institute of Castellammare di Stabia and the National Association of Condominium Administrators and Similar (NACA), concluded with an extremely positive balance.
The project, included in the framework of school-work alternation, represented a unique opportunity for students, who were able to immerse themselves in a professional sector in continuous growth, acquiring fundamental practical and theoretical skills.
The training course offered participants a complete experience, combining teaching modules, practical simulations, drafting documents and laboratory activities. Students were confronted with the main responsibilities of the condominium administrator: from calling and recording meetings to managing budgets, to resolving conflicts and applying current regulations. An approach that allowed them to experience first-hand the dynamics of a profession that requires technical, managerial and relational skills.
Strongly desired by Dr. Sabrina Apuzzo and coordinated by Dr. Antonio Rocco, an expert in condominium law, NACA National Coordinator and Training Manager of the association, the project was able to count on the support of school tutors Prof. De Simone, Prof. Avino and Prof. Menduto. The commitment of the Headmistress, Prof. Cinzia Toricco, was crucial, as she supported the initiative with conviction, making it a virtuous model of integration between school and the world of work.
“The goal was to introduce young people to a profession of great social responsibility, offering them concrete tools to navigate the job market,” said Dr. Rocco. The course, in fact, was not limited to theoretical training, but aimed to enhance the talents of the students, preparing them for a career that requires transversal skills and a strong sense of ethics.
The NACA Association has already announced its intention to replicate and strengthen the project in the next school year, with the ambition of involving a greater number of institutes and offering new internship opportunities at professional firms and condominium management companies. An initiative that looks to the future, with the aim of training prepared and aware professionals, ready to respond to the needs of a constantly evolving sector.

It is very interesting to know that students have participated in this project, and I am sure that by gaining skills they will be better prepared for the future, but there are many challenges in the world of work nowadays and it is not easy to find opportunities.
