He had killed one and seriously injured another, while a third had managed to escape. But before calling for help, he had hidden the body of the thief he had just killed not far from his home.
They had arrived on site police and a crew of 118. The man had said that he had wounded the thief and that the other two had fled. But that was not the case. In the meantime, the wounded thief had been transported to the hospital in Vallo della Lucania and then, given the seriousness of his condition, to the Cardarelli in Naples.
The carabinieri had seized the rifle and the magistrate had entered both him and the thief in the register of suspects.
Now, however, in light of his confession of the discovery of the body of the murdered thief, his position worsens: in fact, he is being investigated for manslaughter and concealment of a body.
