Forget the classic birthday parties. An innovative proposal arrives in Vallo di Diano: the MIdA Foundation launches a new format to transform the day most awaited by children into a journey through science, nature and archaeology. The project, designed for children aged 6 to 13, aims to combine play and learning in an authentic and engaging experience.
Caves, museums and nature: the party becomes adventure
The extraordinary Pertosa-Auletta Caves, the Soil Museum and the Speleo-Archaeological Museum become the suggestive setting for the new “game-parties”. Children participate in thematic itineraries, interactive workshops and recreational activities that guide them to discover the secrets of the subsoil, the environment and the historical testimonies of the territory.
Underground navigation, labs and giant quizzes
Among the experiences offered: a navigation on the underground river, tactile and visual experiences to discover the life of the soil, and simulations of archaeological excavations. The highlight is a giant quiz game, where children move on a board on the ground, challenging each other on questions inspired by the content learned during the day.
An educational and modular format, guided by experts
“It's an opportunity to transform the birthday into an authentic cultural experience – explains Maria Rosaria Carfagna, president of the MIdA Foundation – which combines knowledge, play and sociality in a valuable context, increasingly requested by families too”.
The parties are organized with customizable packages, based on the number of participants and the available spaces. Each event is followed by qualified personnel, with guided tours, themed entertainment and educational games designed to involve and stimulate the curiosity of the little guests.
A special day of fun and discovery
The MIdA Foundation's proposal represents a new and intelligent way to celebrate: an opportunity to create happy memories, but also to leave children with a wealth of new knowledge and a more curious and aware look at the world around them.
The idea of having birthday parties this way seems interesting but I am not sure if children really appreciate all these things like science and archaeology. It would be nice to have more information about the costs and details of the activities.
